Schacht Zoom Loom
The handheld loom we've been waiting for. Introducing the Schacht Zoom Loom! Schacht is expected to ship the Zoom Loom at the end of April/beginning of May.
Schacht has taken the simple design of vintage handheld looms and transformed it into an efficient and comfortable little loom. If you've ever woven on a pin loom, you'll love their new and improved model. Small and compact, the Zoom Loom is easy to take along any where, any time. Now your weaving can be as portable as knitting and crochet. Zoom Looms are fun for kids too.
Some of the great features of this loom include:
- Sloping interior edge guides your weaving needle.
- Graceful extended sides are easy to hold.
- Molded-in instructions on the front and back are always there when you need them.
- A handy slot holds the starting yarn without knotting.

The 4" x 4" Zoom Loom comes in an attractive carrying case. A 6" weaving needle and a 3" yarn needle are included, as well as a full-color instruction book with three projects. Made in Boulder, Colorado!

This little loom is a great away-from-home craft and very suitable for keeping your hands busy while watching tv or having chats with friends. I have several friends who were on their way to order their own loom the last time I saw them. Addictive!

I always love learning new techniques and this is a fun and easy one to learn. Squares work up quickly and it's fun to think of projects to create. It's like being able to weave without buying an expensive loom.

Comments about Schacht Zoom Loom:
Takes only 20 minutes to make one square but you do have to pay attention to the weaving part, so not good for watching television. Really great for using bits of yarn that don't look good next to each other but do look good in combination. Unfortunately it has the same problem as the original looms - the pins keep poking my fingertips no matter how I try to avoid them. Great for odd moments and the box makes it easy to carry around.
