The colors are tweed-like and very warm; and the yarn has a nice soft feel. I made a sweater for my brother, and my husband wanted to keep it, so I then had to make one for him!

I have now made two sweaters with this pattern and wool- both are about a ball short in the requirements- I checked my gage and used the right wool- they are simply short! Save yourself some grief and buy an extra ball
