This sporty jacket is the adult-sized version of the Playtime Jacket (#0808). It features a simple diagonal stripe pattern on the body contrasted with wider vertical stripes of the sleeves, and a kimono style front closure with 2 outside buttons and one inside. Easy drop-shoulder construction allows for quick finishing and a comfortable fit for all your weekend activities. Knitted in the round, using steeks.

This model was made in Vespera by South West Trading Company (100% hand dyed merino wool); 50g/1.75 oz per ball; 163 yds/150 m); shown in size 44.5”.

PATTERN SPECIFICATIONS
Finished Chest Sizes: 35.5 (38, 40, 42.25, 44.5, 46.5, 51)”/90 (96, 102, 107, 113, 118, 129) cm
Choose the size that is 4-5” larger than your actual chest measurement.
Gauge: 28 sts and 32 rows per 4” (10 cm) in stranded pattern on larger needles.
Needles: Size 6 US (4.0 mm) 32” or 40” circular needles for body, or size you need to get gauge. You’ll also need a 24” circular needle 2 sizes smaller for the edgings. So if you get gauge with a size 6, your edging needle will be a size 4. As always, do a gauge swatch before you start to ensure that your finished project will be a success.
Yarn: MC 975 (1050, 1135, 1225, 1275, 1340, 1480) yds each of MC and CC. [887 (955, 1032, 1115, 1160, 1219, 1347) meters]
Notions: 3 buttons (¾”)(2 for outside, 1 for inside), 6 stitch markers, tapestry needle & scissors.
