The Impari Shawlette from Nina Machlin Dayton is a very cute and easy shawlette that is great for beginners. This asymmetrically shaped triangular shawlette is worked from the top down. Cozy and warm it uses garter stitch to break up pooling in variegated yarns, but looks great in solid colors too. The pattern contains a chart to follow the asymmetrical row counts and includes instructions for 2 different types of ties.
