Ashford Camel Down

I bought a few ounces of camel down just to see what it is like - I LOVE IT! I have only been spinning a short time and was intimidated by the short staple length, but as long as I put enough twist in, it is wonderful to work with. I spun it at lace weight, I imagine it would not work so great to spin directly for a heavier weight. It is down so it requires some predrafting, but that is not much work for such a great fiber at an affordable price.
