Ashland Bay's Mixed BFL Top is a 50/50 blend of natural white and natural black Blue Face Leicester wool. The colors are lightly blended to provide the dyer limitless color possibilities with natural occurring shades. With a medium staple and medium crimp, Mixed BFL Top can be spun with a semi-worsted style draft to produce a lustrous and soft yarn that feels great next to the skin. The two colors also show the angle of twist quite well, which is a boon for beginner spinners.
