Beautiful looking yarn. Just finishing up a caridan that I can't wait to wear. Gives the feeling of soft and feminine.

Comments about Plymouth Yarn Drifting Gardens:

This is best worked with large needles (either knitting or crochet) to preserve the loft. I absolutely adore this yarn! I am tempted to say, "Don't buy it!" just because I want all of it.

Comments about Plymouth Yarn Drifting Gardens:

I've bought seven or eight different kinds of mohair in the last year, and Drifting Gardens is one of my favorites. Mohair can be pretty scratchy stuff, and this is definitely softer than most. (I use it double-stranded with worsted weight wool when I make mittens for charity; it makes them thicker/warmer.) I bought color 209 Orchid, and it is a beautiful rich mulberry color. It did shed a bit on the other yarn in my order, but seems to behave just fine after it is knit up.
