I combine yarns of various thicknesses to create one-if-a-kind woven fabric; 10/2 yarns are great to achieve that look.

Comments about Valley Yarns Valley Cotton 10/2:

This thread was listed as being a size#10 but I think it's more of size#20. I'm glad I only bought 1 cone because much to thin for bedspread that I was going to crochet. It's just not as thick as I wanted. If I do buy again I will go with the size#5 or #8. I would recommend to friend as a size#20 not a #10.

Comments about Valley Yarns Valley Cotton 10/2:

Warping is challenging because yarn twists on itself very badly.
        Color selection is great.

This yarn is of consistent quality, and I use it for weaving fabric of all kinds. I also like it for tablet weaving (card weaving) because it is smooth, strong, and comes in a great array of colors.

Comments about Valley Yarns Valley Cotton 10/2:

When I weave a prayer shawl, I usually alternate the natural and bleached white in warp, and bleached in weft. This time the 2 colors were so close in color, that I had a terrible time alternating them.
I ended up using all natural in warp and bleached in weft, giving a slight difference I result. The recipient will not note the difference, but I do.

I use this product to create a slightly furrowed fabric, which comes about due to the smaller gauge in relation to the gauge of the warp, which is 5/2 cotton. The furrowing is evidenced after the fabric is washed in cool water, and laid flat on towel to dry.
