Valley Yarns Valley Cotton 10/2 is a great staple for your weaving projects. The Valley Yarns line of mercerized perle cottons in 3/2, 5/2, and 10/2 is put up on standard one pound cones for weavers and machine knitters. The Valley Cotton line features 50+ sumptuous colors dyed for color fastness, but of course, be sure to test your sample the way you want to finish your fabric. Spun and dyed exclusively for WEBS.
Note: We recommend laying flat to dry for items with fringe.

Beautiful colors, smooth yarn, strong fibers. I have found this most useful to knit 5 strands together, achieving beautiful worsted weight.
I used this yarn as warp and tabby weft for overshot towels. The colors were lovely, and the yarn good quality. No knots and no broken warp threads.
Always a food selection and supply
I'm very disappointed with the quality of this 10/2 cotton. I am using it for warp in an overshot weaving project. When I measured out the warp, I encountered so many knots! Then there were all the places where the tension was off when the yarn was plied, it made twisted globs in the yarn. All of that had to be cut out wasting a whole pile of yarn. I have used this yarn before and never had this trouble.

I like tte quality of this produce, everything suits me. But I Still don't know how this yarn will behave during use. I can say it later.
