Valley Yarns #04 8/2 Cotton/Linen Towels (Free)
Plan to weave more than two of these wonderful towels. Valley Yarns 8/2 Cotton/Linen brings back the quality we used to expect from the blend -- the ease of weaving with cotton and the strength, heft, and absorbency of linen, with none of the hassles. They are machine washable and dryable, and absorb moisture so happily that drying anything -- even dishes -- is a joy! Sharon Alderman has designed a pair of towels in plain weave that are great together and/or separately. At a sett of 20 epi, it is not at all difficult to achieve a balanced weave.

I love the versatility of these towels. I used different colours than they recommend and they turned out very pretty. The warp and weft stripes were a bit fussy to do, but they were worth the effort as they end up looking great.
