Valley Yarns #33 4-Shaft Twill Towels PDF
This easy 4-shaft twill pattern can be treadled two ways to make coordinating towels. Put on a long, 5-yard warp and make five towels in a short period of time. These towels are great to have on hand for hostess gifts! Available as a downloadable PDF only.
Equipment: 4-shaft loom, 18.5” weaving width; 1 shuttle
Size: 15” x 20”
Warp Yarn: Valley Yarns 8/2 Cotton, color 8176 natural; 1 lb will make 5-6 towels.
Weft Yarn: Valley Yarns 8/2 Cotton/Linen, approx. 2.5 oz per towel or a ½-lb cone (#5604 willow green, 1405 autumn blonde, 3077 almond blossom, 2574 heather)
Warp: 442 ends, including one floating selvedge at each end, 18” wide in reed; 5 yard warp will make 5 towels
Sett: 24 epi (12-dent reed)
