This 8-shaft draft is an expanded twill from a Finnish pattern book. Changing the tie-up produces a totally different fabric. This particular color combination produces a lovely iridescent quality to the finished fabric. Also, think about doubling the width for an elegant shawl.

Draft does not show complete weft repeat. Weaving as shown will not produce the image shown. I have woven 4 projects from Webs drafts and 3 had significant errors/omissions.
