Comments about Leclerc Styrene Spools:
I use these spools when spinning yarn. After spinning a full (jumbo-sized) bobbin of yarn, I offload my singles onto these storage spools using a 6.5 mm quill attached to my wheel. The capacity is great. I can spin 8 oz of fiber, then wind the singles off onto 2 (or more, if I choose) of these spools. From there, I can ply from the singles on the spools (but there is no groove for tensioning the spools on the Lazy Kate). This is *much* more economical than using multiple wheel bobbins for storage or plying. They are lightweight and easily transportable, making them perfect for travel and for taking along to workshops and classes. The product is fairly priced, vis-a-vis the market. I use these spools over and over and will definitely buy more of them so that I can have even more spinning projects going at one time.
