Comments about Toika 22" Stainless Reeds:

I ordered this reed for a new-to-me loom and before ordering I measured the 12 dent reed which came with it. The reed had an overall width of 22 inches and so I ordered the 22 inch reed. When it arrived,it was too long with an overall width of 24". I thought perhaps it was my mistake since I haven't had to buy a reed in a long time and the width had been expressed as weaving width. However, even the weaving width was 23". There was nothing about this reed which measured 22". Perhaps this reed was a fluke but I suggest you have the width verified before ordering. I must say that Webs was very accommodating with the return and sent me a UPS preprinted label to facilitate the process.

Comments about Toika 22" Stainless Reeds:

The reed was beautiful but I had to return it. The sizing is very confusing, as the reed is labeled as 22 inches, but it is actually 24 inches long. Apparently the weaving area is 22", but there was no part of the reed that looked like 22" to me. ?? It looked like a quality product, but I never got to try it!
