Comments about Valley Yarns Noho:
A wonderfully soft cotton to work with. While not recommended to machine wash, I found the colorfast excellent when washed on Hot and machine dried. Since I knit a lot of children's clothes, I like to "push" yarns to the limit for ease of care.
I knit with a loose gauge that draped absolutely beautifully.
Gauge used: 5.5 sts and 7.5 rws per 1" (Size US 7 Stockinette) This gauge produced as soft open knit. Perfect for warmer weather.
Could be used as a substituion for Sport Weight yarn (~135 meters/50 gram)
Price of buying on cones, even when not on sale, makes this a economical yarn, without sacrafice of luxury yarn.

Comments about Valley Yarns Noho:
I have used this fiber for more baby blankets and sofa throws than I can count. While it does shed a bit, it is worth it. Baby blankets get a work out and ones woven with this fiber wear very well. I have never had poor feedback from those who have received and used these blankets. Sett at 12, I have not experienced any "catching" when opening the shed.

Comments about Valley Yarns Noho:
I am using it as my first weaving project. Just the warping alone caused major problems. The yarn sheds and causes little noils that hold more than 2-3 strands together making it difficult to get them through the reed. I don't believe I will buy Noho ever again. Sorry people.
