Comments about Jaggerspun Zephyr:
I actually used this yarn to weave a scarf. It was a little tricky warping the loom, but once it was on it was so much fun to weave. The scarf is so soft and pretty.

Comments about Jaggerspun Zephyr:
I've ripped it back several times to re-size the shawl I'm making and it has barely pilled at all. Very good for beginners and not at all itchy or irritating to me -- and I' usually can't stand wool next to my skin. I will be buying more of this (later as I take forever to do 1 item) and won't be ashamed to gift it to relatives/friends.

Comments about Jaggerspun Zephyr:
Overall, this is a great yarn. I love the variety of colors and lovely sheen of this yarn. I have used it for many scarves and shawls. It has a very nice twist to it and is fairly "forgiving".
After washing it it does tend to have a slight crispy feel to it but I carefully steam my items after washing and it becomes very soft, silky, and has sort of a gauze feel to it.
The only complaints that I have with this yarn is that after buying multiple cones, some of the yarn has a completely different texture. It feels very woolly and had knots throughout the cone. Very disappointed about that!
I would also recommend that for some of the brighter colors such as "scarlet and peacock" that you wind them into a hank and wash them before knitting. The amount of dye that comes out of the yarn is insane! My hands are actually tinted red and my bamboo knitting needles are stained from the yarn.
My other suggestion is to use lotion frequently if you knit alot.I have snagged a lace scarf because of dry hands! This yarn does not like dry hands at all. It ends up feeling like velcro. Yikes!

This is next on my list to make a shawl with. So soft yet elegant due to the sheen
Comments about Jaggerspun Zephyr:
This is my basic, all purpose lace knitting/knitted lace yarn. Beautiful hand, easy to work with, great colors, and very inexpensive.
Comments about Jaggerspun Zephyr:
It wasn't slightly crunchy like I was expecting from a 50% wol/50% slk blend. It's soft and pretty, with a little bit of a halo.
