I have used this for knitting fine lace projects, single strand. The yarn is comparable in weight to size 30 cotton crochet thread. Knits up and blocks beautifully!

i weave with this silk, usually inkle bands for trim. Silk is forgiving about humidity, gives a clean shed easily, and looks nice. There is some tendency for pilling, which can interfer with advancing the warp. I would like a bright yellow and a yellowgold, as the grapefruit is way to light for me.

I love to weave and love to use the silk. It is by far my favorite to work with along with Jaggerspun Zephyr that Webs carries. I hand painted the white/undyed silk and enjoyed doing it and loved the outcome. You can't go wrong with this lovely yarn.
