Valley Yarns Rayon Chenille
WEBS is one of the only suppliers of rayon chenille to use colorfast dyes. A bit more expensive, but well worth the cost. Rayon chenille is spectacular woven. We recommend a sett of 12 to 16 epi. Fine gauge machine knitters can also produce wonderful fabrics with rayon chenille. (We do not recommend rayon chenille this fine for hand knitting as it is slippery and has no resilience, so it is most likely to stretch.) $1.50 per cone charge for wind-off service. I usualy dye all of my own yarn for weaving but chenille is hard to dye and this yarn is economical. doesn't worm (if woven properly), and is very "cushy".

The price and the quality of the product is fantastic. One could hope for more and new space dyed chenille. The yarn is flat shiny, and strong. The orders are filled promptly, and deliver on time. I have been using this yarn for years and the quality is the same the colors are repeatable so you can really relay on the supply.

I weave scarves, one I call my accessory scarf and the second a bit wider and longer and take them to the farmer's market and sell them. I don't make a living but I make extra money. And everyone says that they are so soft and colors are delightful.
