The Valley Yarns line of mercerized perle cottons in 3/2, 5/2, and 10/2 is put up on standard one pound cones for weavers and machine knitters. The Valley Cotton line features 50+ sumptuous colors dyed for color fastness, but of course, be sure to test your sample the way you want to finish your fabric. Spun, and dyed exclusively for WEBS in Brazil.

I've been using this yarn for weaving for about 12 years, notice over the last few years that the quality of the spinning is declining -- more rough places where bunches of fibers are joined, lots more knots. This creates problems, and wastage, when winding long warps, especially in sectional warping. If I need a small amount, so there's no volume discount and the yarn isn't on sale, I go to other suppliers. This is still a good value at sale prices, but I have to plan on wastage of product and some of my time.

One cone of this will make a delicate, beautiful thermal baby blanket. It is cool and airy in the summer and warm in the winter. I use a #5steel crochet hook and a shell pattern.

I use this product in all kinds of weaving projects. So far, I have found this thread to be colorfast with minimal shrinkage. I finish by machine washing and machine drying and ironing. Softens and becomes more absorbent each time it is washed. Has a nice sheen and is durable. Easy to work with and many colors are available.

I use this product in many weaving projects; from towels and baby blankets to bookmarks and placemats. Love the strength and sheen. It's easy to weave with and easy to repair. The only thing I dislike is that I periodically run across a knot in the thread when I am measuring warp.

I used these yarns to weave tea towels. I made some with commercially dyed colors, all of which behaved beautifully and held their color when washed. The white that I bought I dyed and they took the dyes beautifully and held their color through multiple washings. Thanks for a great product!

I love the versatility of 10/2 cotton. It is easy to warp, sley and thread. I am also very happy with Valley cotton's variety of colors. I was thrilled to receive a quick personal response to a question. Wow! Did not expect that! Very cool. Gives me and extra bump of confidence when ordering. I also know how much is on hand when I order. Nice touch
