Comments about MillaMia Naturally Soft Merino:
This yarn is nothing but perfection! I do not know why the previous customer left so many bad reviews about it... The yarn is very soft, the colors are amazingly bright, the stitch definition is outstanding. I am making a dress with it, and I have not found any knots yet. I have nothing but compliments to say about this product. In my view, it is totally worth the price I paid for it.

Comments about MillaMia Naturally Soft Merino:
I am using the yarn for a pattern written by the same people who produce the yarn. I love knitting with the yarn, soft, stitches are very even, color is consistent, I look at the sweater as a three season sweater because the yarn is smooth and light weight.
I have used several other colors of this yarn and have made two other garments in this yarn. It is wonderful to work with and is great for color work.
The only drawback is it is a bit spongy but in this case (for the pattern I am following) I like the texture of the yarn.

Comments about MillaMia Naturally Soft Merino:
Quality of this yarn has deteriorated since I first used it in Spring/Early summer of 2012. Multiple knots per ball were incurred. At the price of this yarn and the cost to make even a child's garment, using the Milla Mia patterns, I would expect better. Lots of knots might be expected in a yarn that is being discontinued, using up the materials, but not in a newer, full price yarn. This overrides the lovely feel of the merino and the convenience of the machine washability. I will not use it again, after finishing my project (the Cecilia Coat) which has now become a chore to work on.
FYI ... I am a long time knitter who loves the feel of fiber and NEVER but never finds much to dislike about any yarn ... I think this is a first (my hubbie insists it is a first, for me)

Comments about MillaMia Naturally Soft Merino:
This is a great yarn when used sport weight (6.5 st/in); soft and machine washes nicely. Unfortunately, the patterns that I chose, the little girls coat and the per body warmerfor girl or boy, are written for a gauge of 4.5 st/in and require using the yarn doubled. When doubled and at the correct gauge, it does not feel as soft and in fact is quite stiff. Prefer other machine washable yarns that are spun for a gauge of 4.5 st/in, for these patterns ... much better fabric results. Still machine wash and tumble dry low with beautiful results. I will however use this yarn again for baby or kids knits at the smaller gauge!
