    Louisa Harding Albero

A unique combination of Lenpur and cotton, Louisa Harding Albero is a perfect warm-weather yarn. Lenpur is known for its softness and ability to release dampness. Combined with cotton, it creates a lovely yarn that works up into a beautiful fabric. Louisa Harding Albero is avaiable in an array of sophisticated colors. Made in Italy

      Comments about Louisa Harding Albero:

I purchased three colors of Albero to stripe with a stiffer, spiral cotton in a vest, and I'm quite happy with it. It's tough enough to hold its own with the other yarn and has good stitch definition, with good strong colors and a nice twist texture. On its own, it would knit fairly quickly while providing some soft drape. My only caveats with Albero would be that you may need to use smaller needles than called for if you want any density to your fabric, and very pointed needle tips can cause it to split. Overall, this is a really nice yarn for warm-weather projects.

        Comments about Louisa Harding Albero:

Just knitted a pretty little baby cardigan/hat set for a friend's first grandbaby. It drapes nicely and has a deliciously soft feel. Color is rich. Had to use cotton since the dad is highly allergic to most yarn. Would absolutely use again. Webs is great!! Price was fantastic.

Louisa Harding has scored again! Beautiful yarn. I made a Infinity Scarf and then a Slouch hat. I was so pleased, I have started a cropped-short sleeved Cardi.

        Service and delivery comments:

webs sent me the wrong color and despite calling and explaining that this was my project for a trip, they could not ship the correct color to me in time and would not offer to 2-day or overnite it fix their mistake.

        Comments about Louisa Harding Albero:

This will easily become my go-to sweater for the summer! I plan on ordering more in a different color for my next project. My only disappointment is that it has a tendency to unravel just a little while knitting it up. Easily one of my favorite yarns!
