Comments about Noro Wadaiko:
I made an oversized jacket with this and it worked great but because the yarn is so bulky and nobby, it wouldn't go through any kind of needle so a crochet hook is essential. it does make for a bulkier seam and you might think about doing external seams (decorative) in a solid color. Or use a pattern where it's all done in one piece. I used a softer non-wool yarn for the large collar on this jacket...if you do this, make sure the gauge is the same or if it's a thinner yarn, then double it.

Comments about Noro Wadaiko:
As with all things Noro this is obviously a wonderful yarn...I've used this for numerous neck pieces with unique shawl sticks or brooches as fasteners.

Comments about Noro Wadaiko:
My teenage daughter selected this yarn for a totebag solely based on its vibrant colors. I was a bit timid about using it, and also purchased Noro Iro "just in case". I needn't have worried. It is knitting up like a dream, and my daughter couldn't be happier withh the bag. I purchased more as the first yarn in my "stash" for its drape, colors and fun texture.

Comments about Noro Wadaiko:
Shockingly coarse in comparison to the yarns I've been working with recently, but the Noro colors finally convinced me that it was worth it. Still not sure what the best use would be. Maybe a bag? The thick/thin in combination with the coarse texture makes the yarn practically felt itself as soon as you knit with it.
