A lovely yarn to knit. I love DK weight yarns and this yarn is not exception. It's very soft against the skin and I had no problems knitting with it.

Knit on smaller needles than recommended.
Use stitch patterns which will keep their shape.

Truth be told, when I got this yarn, I was a little disappointed. It seemed kind of ordinary in the ball. But as I knit it up into a really simple garter stitch scarf, I was impressed. The drape was gorgeous, there was a very subtle sheen, and it was at once incredibly warm and lightweight. I'll definitely buy this again and try something a bit more daring. One thing that was a bit of a challenge was that half of my balls had yarn spliced in, which I had to work around and was a little bit of a bummer.

Bought this in black to knit Netherfield Evening Bag in Jane Austen Knits. The silk fiber has several tiny strands, which means you have to take care to not split them as you are knitting. Would not pay full price for it, but love it at the closeout price.
