Classic Elite Yarns Crestone

Classic Elite Crestone is a classic soft wool, spun of natural, undyed fibers in subtly heathered solids and striking marled colors. Crestone has three smooth, squishy plies and would be great for any cold-weather outerwear, or for felting. You can use Classic Elite Vista patterns with Crestone as they are the same gauge. Made in Peru.

Comments about Classic Elite Yarns Crestone:

Wonderful yarn, I used the color Cinder to knit-felt a purse. I like that it being 100% wool undyed, it was soft and had plenty of elasticity. It felted up quit nicely, it did however take 2 wash cycles in the wash machine to felt to where I was happy with it, but the final out come was great.

Comments about Classic Elite Yarns Crestone:

I bought this yarn to knit bowls/baskets. I wanted an undyed colored yarn which would felt and this fit the bill. It performed to my high expectations. It is soft enough to use for things like mittens, hats, etc. (I have enough to do some fingerless mitts of the length of arm warmers and plan to do same. Note: I am a very picky rater. Five stars are rare and truly exceptional. I would buy this yarn again in a heart beat!

Comments about Classic Elite Yarns Crestone:

I used the yarn to make a hat. It was a small project so the wool did not get hot or scratchy. The yarn was easy to work with. My only complaint were the three bad places in the yarn. It looked like they joined the yarn in those places.
