The description says worsted weight, it is not. Maybe a light worsted, but that is even pushing it. It knits beautifully on a US 5.

I was knitting Santa's beard on a Christmas stocking and it was too thin. I couldn't double it as I was knitting from both ends. Later, when I could double it, it looked a lot better. What I had previously was A.C.A Supreme 100% pure Angora and Fox Brand Superchoice French Angora both made in France-much nicer.

This is the perfect yarn for a warm, comfortable hat. It is the best yarn if you don't like wool near your face and scalp. I used a double strand to give the hat more substance and warmth. I would definitely buy it again.

My number one concern is where the Angora came from. I really want to know if the rabbits are treated humanely. I plan to follow up on this. I absolutely love this yarn!

This yarn is beautiful, however fairly expensive for the amount of yarn that is on the ball. It is very fine and I had to combine 4 strands to accomplish my pattern, yet it worked up beautifully.
