Adventure Du Jour Designs Box Top Hat and Mittens are knit at a dense gauge with the yarn held doubled to create that extra barrier to the elements. This stacked cable pops perfectly on the bed of reverse stockinette. So, knit this lovely set using Valley Yarns Worthington, a DK weight wool with alpaca, and viscose blend which provides you with comfort and durability. The Folded Cable pattern is in chart form only.

Hat – 21” circumference
Mittens – 8” circumference and 9½” long
Yarn Requirements: 3 balls Valley Yarns Worthington (50% Wool/ 25% Alpaca/ 25% Viscose; 50g/174yds) shown in 10 Marine Blue and 06 Storm Cloud
Needles: US 7 (4.50mm) 16” circular and DPNs or 40” circular for magic loop
Gauge: 16 sts and 30 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch with yarn held double
