Time: 1:00pm–3:00pm
Materials Required:

  • 1750 (3500, 5000) yards of a light worsted weight yarn in a light, solid or heathered color. Sample is shown in Valley Yarns Northampton (100% wool, 247 yards/100g)
  • Needles: US size 6 (4.00mm) 40" circular needles or size needed to get gauge of 5 sts = 1" in stockinette stitch
  • Stitch markers
  • cable needle
  • highlighter tape or other chart-reading aids if desired
  • Knit and Crochet Tool Kit
  • Pattern will be provided in class

HOMEWORK:

  1. Knit a 4" x 4" gauge square, and wash and block it to determine your gauge.
