Materials Required:

  • Schoolhouse Press Pattern #5 (15% discount)
  • 24" circular needle and 2 double-pointed needles, in size appropriate to your yarn 
  • Gauge and yarn size will determine garment's finished size: 6.25 sts/in = 14"-15" chest / 5.5 sts/in = 15"-16" chest / 5 sts/in = 18"-19" chest / 4.25 sts/in = 21"-22" chest /
  • Tapestry needle
  • Knit and Crochet Tool Kit
  • Scissors or yarn snips
  • Optional buttons to be purchased with instructor's guidance


  1. One 6" by 6" garter stitch swatch in your project yarn to determine gauge and thickness of desired fabric
  2. 2 garter stitch swatches in worsted weight scrap yarn. Cast on 18 stitches and knit in garter stitch for 3 inches.
