Baby Cocktails’ Night Caps is perfect for any child to any man in your
life using a worsted weight yarn. These two Night Caps feature the same cable
idea, a slated loop, but each cap plays with the cables differently. So,
take your pick and finish it off with a pompom. The hats are knit in the round from
the bottom up. The cable patterns are charted and written out.
Finished Measurements: Hats stretch about 2–3” when worn
10 pm – 13 (15, 17, 19¼, 21¼)” circumference and 7 (8, 8, 8, 9)” deep to the center of the crown
11 pm – 13, (17, 21¼)” circumference and 8½ (9, 9)” deep to the center of the crown
Yarn Requirements: Worsted weight yarn such as Cascade Yarns 220 (100% Wool; 100g/220yds)
10 pm – 175 (185, 200, 210, 225) yards
11 pm – 185 (200, 225) yards
Needles:
US 6 (4.00mm) 16” circular
US 7 (4.50mm) 16” circular and DPNs
Gauge: 30 sts and 28 rnds = 4” laid flat, based on final fabric in rib on US 6 (4.00mm) and cable pattern on US 7 (4.50mm)
