I was very disappointed with this yarn. There were 3 knots in one skein. The yarn itself was very nice.

        Comments about 5.29 Comfort Print:

I am presently knitting myself a spring sweater with this yarn and my husband wants a cardigan of the same! It is getting difficult to find the Maine Woods, they either are discontinuing it or many folks like me, love the way it knits up. WEBS was the only place I could find enough skeins.

        Comments about 5.29 Comfort Print:

I love the way the colors are blended in this yarn. It works up beautifully and is a good unisex yarn/color. The ONLY improvement I would like to see in the yarn is for it to be more tightly woven.

        Service and delivery comments:

I received my order quickly and all 10 skeins were the same dye lot. The discount that I received for the quantity was a great incentive to buy more. Thanks so much

This was so soft. Used it to make a couple chemo hats for a much loved family member. she loves them. they are very soft and comfy. Yarn does have a slight tendency to split but it isnt bad and doesnt slow you down much. Hand washed it before I gave it away and all went well.

          Comments about 5.29 Comfort Print:

I bought this yarn to make a baby blanket for a coworker. The yarn is very soft and machine washable, so perfect for a baby blanket. I am still working on the blanket (about 1.3 of the way through) and so far the yarn is holding its shape very nicely. It does split easily and I have come across a couple of places where there are two ends tied together.

            Comments about 5.29 Comfort Print:

Initially, I was disappointed by how it felt in the skein, but once on the needles was much more pleased -- it has the feel of a worsted weight cotton with more stretch. It DOES split easily. However, the colors are great and I think it will make a nice sturdy, washable pair of socks (I'm making labor socks for my pregnant niece!).

I am making a baby blanket for a friend. It is super soft and light for warmer weather. I made a baby blanket for my son who is 3 and he sleeps with it every night, the yarn has held up very well to washing. I have just now noticed some pilling on it. The color has held up really well also. Very happy with this as an alternative to wool blends.
