I made the Allemande vest from Berroco #322. After knitting vest, I washed by hand in cold water. As I was laying it out to dry, I noticed it had stretched out considerably. The garment was so long the pockets were no longer over the thighs but at my knees. I tried felting it a bit since it has some wool in yarn, it tightened up just a bit. Going to tear it out and repurpose yarn. Probably make crocheted Sashay scarf in same booklet.

Comments about 4.39 Lodge:

Both texture and color are a joy to knit with. I made matching hand warmers and ear warmers for Xmas gifts, and recipients loved them. The price was great as well! Really nice to find a good yarn under $5 a skein.

        Comments about 4.39 Lodge:

I got about 4 sts per inch on 10s. I have only know up a swatch so far. I bought this yarn to do some colorwork on a sweater. its a little lighter than lambs pride bulky, more like worsted weight. single ply, didn't have issues with splitting on my tiny little test patch, good stitch definition. have to see how it washes, wears and pills. but seems like a solid berroco product. the knitted fabric has a nice hand to it so far. almost feels like a a cotton wool mix. does not seem itchy next to skin.

        Comments about 4.39 Lodge:

I bought enough of this yarn in the red/purple colorway to knit a long cardigan. I'm about halfway through knitting the back, and the fabric is turning out to be beautiful! It's fun to use, with the gradual, random color changes and a slight thick-and-thin texture. The gauge knits up quickly, but it isn't too bulky-looking. The yarn is single-ply, so the stitches look smooth. It's really yummy yarn. I wish it came in more color options.

            Comments about 4.39 Lodge:

I wasn't familiar with this yarn before buying it. Even though I like it, and the colours are very nice, it's not as bulky as I expected it to be and is more like a worsted weight.
I'll probably buy this again for a different project now that I know the weight.

I didn't have enough of the same yarn in a discontinued color and bought the grey version of this yarn to make a 2 colored very large scarf for my daughter. It was so beautiful and very cozy for her.

            Service and delivery comments:

Love the discounts when I buy more. I often save up my requests to take advantage of the volume discount. Thank you so much.

I am loving this yarn! It's very easy to work with but you do have to pay attention to your knitting and be careful not to separate the strands. Beautiful colors and so soft to knit!
