    Comments about "" Bradford:

Really nice and soft, perfect weight for baby stuff. Unfortunately, label says not washable. Given that it's 97 pct cotton, maybe label is referring to shrinkage? Anyway, will wash what I'm making before I give it away, so we'll find out. Kinda weird to have an unwashable baby yarn. I don't want to believe it.

      Comments about "" Bradford:

I can only wear wool as a cardigan so this was a nice change from the cotton yarns I've used for pull-overs in the past. Would be a great spring or fall choice in the East Coast but here in the San Francisco Bay Area, I could wear it almost anytime of the year. Loved the texture and drape. Found the color of actual yarn not the same as on web page but was able to use anyway.

      Comments about "" Bradford:

Because of the texture, I got it caught between the threads a few times, but once I got used to working it that improved. Great texture once knitted; not exactly soft, but very comfortable.
Doesn't show ribbing particularly well, but hard to resist for comfort and color!

Used this for a simple shawl, 2 needle sizes up from recommended size. Pleasantly surprised at the nice drape for the price.
