In celebration of their 30th anniversary, Cascade Yarns has partnered with Vogue Knitting to create the Knitterati Afghan Knit-Along! The first square will be revealed at Vogue Knitting Live New York, January 13–15, 2017. There will be 30 squares in all—created by 30 different designers.
Here at WEBS we've put kits together to make getting all the yarn you need for the afghan Knit-Along easy! This kit qualifies for the WEBS 25% off yarn discount, which you'll see applied in your cart.
The Knitterati Afghan is made with 30-10" squares using 23 skeins of Cascade 220 Superwash in 5 colors, with a 3-color border. The full afghan should measure around 50” x 60”. The pattern is a mystery, so pictures of the finished afghan won't be released for a few months! The first square pattern will be released in January 2017, with a new square being revealed periodically throughout 2017, via the Cascade newsletter. The afghan will take about a year to complete! NOTE: To participate, you will need to sign up at Cascadeyarns.com to receive pattern releases for each square via email as they're released. Patterns for squares will not be available from WEBS. You can join Cascade's Ravelry group here to share your progress.

- Pattern squares are lovely
Comments about CASCADE YARNS 30th Anniversary Knitterati Afghan Knit-Along Kit:
While the pattern square directions are lovely , I have been waiting for 2 months for the delivery of my yarn kit! If the order can't be fulfilled in a timely fashion, it shouldn't be listed for sale! I would be reluctant to ever order a back ordered item again. That being said, I am still looking forward to knitting the afghan squares someday!
