I love the variety of color in each ball, sometimes with very unexpected but pleasing combos. I'm currently making a log cabin blanket with it, using one ball per square, and the squares are stunning. It makes the knitting very engaging waiting to see what color is going to come next. I've used it for wonderful slip stitch scarves as well, using two balls of the same color from opposite ends, to great effect. At my LYS they are using it in a cardigan class, with stockinette stitches going up and down and garter stitches sideways and it looks fabulous. It's splashy and inventive. I think I've bought at least one ball of every color WEBS offers, and there is a great variety. It's a good weight and I love that it is all wool but washable and dryable in a machine (gently of course). It's fairly soft although not meltingly so, and feels fine to work with. Two enthusiastic thumbs up!

It is NOT worsted weight yarn. It is much thinner and splinters easily. The product is mislabeled on their website. I would not recommend anybody looking for worsted weight to buy this yarn. As a sport/fingering, it is ok. It is a little coarse/rough, but it's slippery too which makes it soft-ish. The colors have no rhyme or reason behind them, so you can often get large chunks of one color, small snippets of another, and then back to large chunks of the original color (and for me, it wasn't even the nice color, I got a drab gray-ish brown instead of the red and purple pictured). You could try to search for a good section, but good luck. I wasn't able to find a good chunk to splinter in, except for the outside layer. Not worth having to hunt for a good piece to knit with. I am now looking for someone to trade with me, so I can actually have pretty worsted weight yarn for my sweater.

Comments about true Liberty Wool Print:

I was disappointed with the colorway I chose and I thought the yarn was a little bit rough. However, I had just been knitting with 100% alpaca yarn, so the roughness I experienced might just have been in comparison between the ultimate softness of the alpaca and this wool yarn. I was much happier when I started knitting this in two strands. It made for a nice combination of the colors in this yarn.

Thoroughly enjoyed knitting with this yarn. The only issue with the yarn is it does curl with the wrong pattern. The finish product (long scarf) was beautiful, colors true through 4 skeins and easy to join to keep pattern consistent.

Comments about true Liberty Wool Print:

The variegated colors are very appealing. I made a hat using the "Glacier" Print as main color and the "Citronella" Solid as the contrasting color. There was not enough contrast between some of the colors, since I could not see all the colors of the print before selecting it.

I agree the yarn is a little light for a worsted, but the weight is OK for my climate. There were a few knots in the balls.
