Comments about   " Tiverton Tweed:

Had been looking for this yarn for a while. I used it on a brim of a hat I made. Started another hat and couldn't find the tag. So happy I found it!

I purchased this yarn on sale to try. It is a cotton/linen and will use it in the spring. The color is very nice and I am pleased. Thank you!

Sheds Like Crazy

Comments about   " Tiverton Tweed:

I made a sweater with this yarn and the color is great and it is very soft with nice texture. However it sheds like crazy. I've been covered with fuzz the entire time I knit and am concerned that it will continue after I wash and block it. Hope not! It is a gift for my daughter.

Comments about   " Tiverton Tweed:

A colleague at work saw me knitting and asked if I could mend his wool hunting sweater, as moths had gotten to it. I said I would look at it and see. He brought the sweater in a bag, along with some great homemade beeswax candles he makes himself, as payment for my work.

The wool in the sweater is a tweedy color, and I didn't know how I would match it. I spent some time online, and to my delight, found the brindle colorway in this luscious yarn. I don't think I could have found a better match anywhere.

And then, working with it, I couldn't believe how silky and soft it is! I want a hat made out of this stuff, so I will get a few skeins for myself! Every time I pick it up to mend a few holes (there are many) I can't believe how great if feels. When I saw his sweater, I almost told him to just get another one because of all the holes, but it's his "favorite," so I went ahead and I am glad, because otherwise I wouldn't have run across this yarn.
