Once you have mastered the basic stitches of crochet, you will want to expand your knowledge of this wonderful and relaxing craft. In this class, we will concentrate on working motifs in the round (including granny squares), reading and understanding patterns, crocheted ribbing, and shaping (increasing and decreasing). We will make several projects during our 6 weeks and the majority of the work will be done outside of class, so be prepared for at least 30 minutes of homework per day.
For the comfort and safety of our students and teachers, students may be asked to wear a mask during in-person classes and workshops, and are available upon request.

- Scissors or yarn snips
- Tape measure or ruler
- Locking stitch markers
- Tapestry needles
- A range of crochet hooks in sizes D – J. Students should bring a 4mm and a 5mm hook to the first class, and the instructor will provide guidance from there.
Marjoram Hat:
- Marjoram Hat Pattern
- 2 skeins of Valley Yarns Northampton in two different colors; see the pattern for a photo
- The Marjoram Hat Pattern and yarn, along with a 4mm and a 5mm crochet hook required for first class
Simple Seed Stitch Pillow:
- Simple Seed Stitch Pillow Pattern
- 5 balls Valley Yarns Valley Superwash – 3 balls main color and 2 balls contrasting color; see the pattern for a photo.
- 14" pillow form for Seed Stitch Pillow (you will be making the pillow cover).
Keyhole Ripple Scarf

- If you have not crocheted in a while, please practice chains, single crochet, double crochet, and slip stitch before class.

Cancellation Policy: For all classes, payment of full tuition is due at time of registration. Tuition will be refunded only if the class is canceled by WEBS. or if there is a waiting list and your spot can be filled.
