You'll learn how to join snowflakes can be joined together for a scarf or garland. Or use them singly to add an elegant embellishment to another gift. We'll use worsted weight yarn to get the hang of three snowflake patterns, each made of 4 rounds or less. Students can then go on to experiment with different fibers and weights of yarn. Instructor will provide samples of snowflakes worked in different types of yarn. We’ll also cover techniques for using finished snowflakes as decoration, including stiffening.
