The only draw back would be that it is a little hairy so when knitting the yarn would split a little and I had to be more careful.

I would use this again though.

This yarn is pretty when knit into a garment. The colors sort of 'stripe' throughout the project and the end result is very pretty.

The yarn is uneven with some of a ball being thick while other parts are very thin. It wouldn't be a good choice for a professional sort of look but is great for weekend or leisure wear.

It feels rough when knitting but once it's put together it has a soft texture.

      Comments about "" Riva:

It felt scratchy at first but then when knit up it became soft and warm and squishy. I made a Leaving Cowl and have recieved so many compliments on the colour and bulkiness of the yarn! Overall a great yarn for a quick project!

I'm using Riva with a Noro yarn to make a gorgeous sweater coat I can use when I travel to the mainland. It is a pleasure to knit with and I would purchase the yarn again for other projects.

I made 2 scarves and 2 shoulder capes from Debbie Bliss book "Riva". I used 4 of the colors; all beautiful. I also plan to make a sweater in the near future.

              Comments about "" Riva:

Making a shawl with size 11 needles. Fabric is soft and drapes nicely. Hanks vary quite a bit within the same dye lot--some do not include all of the color transitions--and there is a difference in the color emphasis in any given hank. However, the colors within the dye lot do match. For my project, the variation between hanks has not been a problem. It has made the pattern more interesting.

Beautiful colors. Need to buy a lot since even two balls doesn't make a long scarf.
