This yarn is an average laceweight that has been hand-dyed. It is certainly not a bad yarn, however, as a crafter who works mostly with lace and cobweb weight yarns, I found this had little to no elasticity/bounce (which is crucially important in finer projects). The colors are beautiful but the skein I purchased had a color change every 6" or 7", although this is a purely personal preference.

      Comments about 20.00 Wisp:

I knit fine lace shawls to sell at craft shows. I love the colors, although they are darker than they appear on the computer screen. The yarn is fine with a beautiful sheen. The only problem I've had is that sometimes the skeins are tangled when I put them on the swift and it takes quite a while to wind them. I have a wooden swift that was made in Finland so there is nothing to catch the yarn, they're just tangled.

Beautiful yarn for lacy scarves. They are very delicate, and snag easily.

This is a beautiful yarn that I use for knitting scarves. It feels great, looks good and people love to get them as gifts. It is a pity that the colors usually are much darker than they appear in the picture.

I use it double stranded to knit an infinity scarf. I wanted (and am getting) a more muted presentation of the different colors. It is so easy to knit and such a treat to handle and to watch the mingling of the gorgeous colors.

                      Service and delivery comments:

Delivery is very prompt. Customer service is excellent! I received an email to let me know that the hanks they had left in the color I am using varied too much to be interchangeable.
