The Meme Cardigan from Jen Hagan Design is named in honor of the
designer's mother. This cardigan is a fun, classic knit with a feminine
neckline and top-down construction that makes it easy to customize lengths. The
project starts with the saddle shoulder pieces (which double as swatches!) and
then knitting the rest of the cardigan seamlessly from the top down. The fabric
is graced with both twisted-stitch cables and other low-relief cables that
present a slimming silhouette. The main center cable that appears on the back
of the cardigan is repeated and split down the front center by a handy zipper
closure. The cable patterns are charted and written out.
