GARDINER YARN WORKS
Supernova from Gardiner Yarn Works is a lovely cuff-down sock pattern knitted using a slipped stitch pattern. This sock was designed to try and work with highly variegated colorways like the one pictured, using purl stitches to add some interest and break up the colors differently than knits. The stitch patterns, which are both written and charted, are beautiful without being overly complicated.
This pattern is excerpted from the book Indie Socks: Knitting Patterns and Dyer Profiles Featuring Hand-Dyed Yarns.
This pattern is available as a PDF download.
