Grace Akhrem’s Riverbed Shawlette is  a cushy triangular scarf/shawl worked in garter stitch with a lace border. Starting in one corner and working across to the opposite long edge, the lace border is knit at the same time with the body of the shawl. You then pick up stitches to knit the ruffle. Pattern includes instructions for both a fingering weight and a worsted weight version, making this a versatile project that's perfect for special hanks of yarn!
