I cannot say anything against this yarn, it is strong, although very thin, doesn't peel and easy to knit.

    Comments about "" Merinosilk 25:

I loved working with this yarn. It feels good in your hands. The merino silk blend seems to be perfect for consistent tension. The natural springiness of wool is well balanced by the tensile strength of silk.

The color is very deep and intense. All around a pleasure to knit with.....

Not as much a pleasure to block. Although the finished lace is very beautiful, it did not hold blocking as well as I expected. I like to obsessively open lace in the blocking process - I allowed the piece to fully dry but when removed from the drying frame the piece relaxed more that I would have liked but not enough that anyone else noticed.

I will purchase this yarn again and again!

If you are not used to a lace weight yarn it takes some getting used to. Very fun to work with and I love the feel of it.

I used this yarn to knit a ribband with beads. It performed very well. I can wrap the ribband around my wrist or wear it around my neck. The yarn is strong enough for the weight of the beads.

Love this yarn. It is very delicate, but surprisingly sturdy when I had to frog it. Will definitely buy again.

      Griginasco Merino Silk

      By Spiderwoman

      Comments about "" Merinosilk 25:

It would be useful for you to indicate what thickness lace yarn an item is in your online catalog. This was lovely yarn, but too thin for the use I had in mind, so I had to return it.

As you know, some "lace" yarn is close to fingering weight, and other yarn is cobweb thin.
It would help to have a clear indicator for this.
