What color is it?

Comments about HAYFIELD Siesta DK:

The yarn is what I expected. It is a bamboo blend. However, I really wanted a bright white and I ordered the color white, but it is not the bright white I was looking for. It is more of a winter white or eggshell. I am disappointed. This yarn will be used to make white cloths for those who will be baptized at our Easter Vigil. I decided to keep the yarn, but we have not as yet used it. I am hoping the color will be just fine.

Absolutely worth the price

Comments about HAYFIELD Siesta DK:

This yarn has an excellent drape and feel. It is working up quite lovely for a lace patterned baby blanket. I love that it is machine washable. Like many cotton yarns, the ends tend to fray and can make transition between skeins tricky. Tends to split, but not frustratingly so.

Comments about HAYFIELD Siesta DK:

I purchased this yarn to knit a sweater. I love the glide of the yarn and it will drape beautifully. The pattern called for a bamboo DK yarn so I found Siesta DK and substituted. I am very pleased with this yarn. I do find that the yarn will separate so I must use great care when knitting. Overall, the performance, the draping of the sweater, the color, and the feel of this yarn when knitting is lovely.

Comments about HAYFIELD Siesta DK:

I purchased this to use for knitting chemo caps. It is soft and really knit up nicely in both of the patterns I did. Will have to try it on other patterns as well.

Comments about HAYFIELD Siesta DK:

I bought this yarn to make a sweater for myself as well as a baby sweater for an upcoming shower. The baby sweater is almost complete and I love the softness and drape. It will make a great sweater for the warmer climate this family lives in.
It's a little split-y and I don't know how it will wash yet - but so far, I'm loving it! It's not always easy to find non-wool fibers that are finer gauge.

Not sure how,it will work out.

Comments about HAYFIELD Siesta DK:

I plan to use this as warp for a set of,3 baby, blankets and have not yet put it on the loom. The texture is quite multi stranded and I can't imagine crocheting or knitting with it. As warp it may be fine and easily under control.
