Kenzie by HiKoo just may be the perfect tweed. New Zealand merino, angora and alpaca lend softness and body, nylon lends strength and silk noils contribute delicate texture and color accents. The smooth, round 3-ply yarn knits into a cohesive fabric that blooms when wet blocked. The angora haze is just fuzzy enough to lend a cozy feel, but not so fuzzy that it will obscure any stitch patterning. Made in New Zealand

I bought this yarn as a substitute for a very expensive yarn listed in a pattern. Very pleased with the quality and results.

Comments about 9.95 Kenzie:

I have made 2 pair of socks with this. May not be the best sock yarn. But where we live, it has been COLD!. These turned out to be so warm, that I can wear them with my sneakers and still have warm feet. Very comfortable.

Yarn looks great and feels great. Good color range. I'd like to know where the rabbits were raised and how they were treated

I'm knitting Skacel's Bravura jacket in this yarn and it is wonderful to work with. The fabric has nice body but still drapes well. There is excellent stitch definition. I'm a new knitter and even I don't seem to split this yarn like some others I"ve tried. I'll definitely be using it again as my daughter and daughter-in-law both want the same jacket.

A novice crocheter but I LOVE this yarn

            Comments about 9.95 Kenzie:

I am just a novice-to-intermediate crocheter, so I hesitate to be the first person to review this product. However, I just love this unique yarn, so I decided to review it...why not!

I am crocheting a special little baby sweater/jacket for an acquaintance. Crocheting garments is not easy for me but this yarn makes it a breeze.

The feel and texture of the yarn take some getting used to, as I crochet primarily with wool blends (with nylon or acrylic). Once I got okay with holding the yarn (tension), crocheting became a breeze! This yarn yields great stitch definition, just enough garment stretch to make the piece cozy & little tweed elements that add interest to the yarn. As an added benefit, this yarn simply does not split! The sweater is coming out to near perfection!

Love this yarn so much, I am buying more in a different color to crochet a sweater for my niece's baby! Just love it! Only downsides are 1) cost...a bit pricey, and 2) yarn requires hand-washing & air drying...somewhat of an inconvenience for baby garments...just have to make sure my moms get that information!

I will try adding photos of my finished sweater at a later date...currently, it is about 3/4 complete!
