Splits a bit

Comments about 7.49 Gabriella:

Unfortunately, had to get more of this yarn to match the other items I made. So hard to match navy! Would not chose to use again.

Splits easily

By Windsor

Comments about 7.49 Gabriella:

I'm making a Guernsey-style throw using this yarn. It agreed with my budget when I purchased it, and it's made in Italy. I'm now about 10 rows into this project and I'm finding that the yarn unravels/untwists a bit and it is easily split with the knitting needle. Perhaps I need some additional time working with it, or perhaps the resulting errors will be erased after the first wash and blocking? I'll keep working on this, but overall my first impressions of this yarn are not stellar.

      Comments about 7.49 Gabriella:

Works up at ore like 5.25/inch on a size 6 needle; too loose on a larger needle. I wanted to use it for hats, but will probably do scarves instead. The yarn is nice, sturdy, and fairly soft, not itchy at all. Doesn't feel wooly--more like cotton.

      Service and delivery comments:

Great service, packaging and delivery, as always.
