The Kelbourne Woolens Rainier Kit includes the PDF pattern download and
all of the Scout yarn needed to knit this colorwork pullover.
Rainier by Kate Gagnon Osborn is a stunning colorwork sweater knit in Kelbourne Woolens Scout, a heathered
2-ply yarn that shows stranded colorwork to its best advantage. The body and sleeves
of Rainier are worked separately in the round to the underarms where they join
to work the raglan yoke. Decreases are worked right into the yoke colorwork
pattern, and short rows raise the back neck before the sweater finishes with a
deep ribbed turtleneck. With a straight fit through the body and special
touches like the tubular cast-ons and bind-offs, Rainier is a superb fall and
winter wardrobe staple. Colorwork patterns are charted only.
