Comments about KnitEdge Magazine PDF:
I was a bit disappointed because this cost the same price as an actually professionally published magazine (not to mention an actual print) that has three or four times the contents.
Also there were a lot of columns by people presented as experts and yet, factual errors crept in. Also, columnists should try to stay objective. Presenting own's opinions is fine, but too much of it and the article becomes biased.
I thought the historical column was boring. (There I said it, I feel bad about it, but I don't ever want to read something like that again).
There was one great pattern with the peafowl on the long jacket, and the petals scarf was nice too. The rest was a bit hit or miss, more often miss. Some patterns like the tightly knit bows and the knitted rabbits might have been at home as free patterns on a personal blog.
YMMV, and I don't like to shoot down new initiatives but I was disappointed, and I think the contents of this maagzine don't compare well to other publications out there.
