Knit One Crochet Too Cria Lace is pure softness. This delightful lace weight yarn creates a lovely, warm, and light fabric that has exquisite drape. The Tencel® adds a bit of sheen to the ultra-soft fine alpaca. Knit singly for lacy and delicate projects, or knit doubled at a gauge of around 5.5 stitches per inch on US 6 needles for heavier projects. Either way you use it, you'll want more of this yarn on your hook and needles!

Very soft and skin friendly. I crochet lace shawls and wraps and this is great to work with. The yarn is a little thicker than lace weight, maybe a light fingering weight, and has no stretch. It is also a little splitty, I use Clover Soft Touch hooks, because they have a nicely rounded tip.
I own several colors (10) of this yarn and would recommend it for its feel and warmth. Too bad it is discontinued, my go to yarn for soft and warm presents. I have made 5 shawls with it and they stand up very well to almost daily wear. The alpaca/tencel combination makes for a fairly strong yarn ideal for lacework. I would not recommend this as a sock yarn.

Luxury Yarn

Comments about KNIT ONE CROCHET TOO Cria Lace:

I accidentally ordered too many of these as I thought I was purchasing 50 g lace balls.
I am very pleased with this yarn, it is beautifully soft, and a little heavier than most lace yarns. It has a soft sheen and could be worn next to skin.

Comments about KNIT ONE CROCHET TOO Cria Lace:

Color much darker than the picture depicted. Yarn splits easily when knitting. Stitches easily dropped due to the slickness of tencil. Stitches don't knit evenly. Would not purchase the yarn again.

Comments about KNIT ONE CROCHET TOO Cria Lace:

I'm combining this yarn with a pink alpaca lace yarn and some from my own fawn alpaca (Max) to get a pink camp blend. I'm crocheting a hooded sweatshirt for my daughter.

This is a very lovely lace weight yarn - I purchased several skeins which I have wound ready for my use. The colors are beautiful and I shall probably puchase a few more skeins if they are still available at the sale price.
