Comments about "" Douceur et Soie:

This yarn is great for lacy wraps and scarves. It has good stitch definition because of the silk and the lovely halo of softness from the mohair. I have a tendency to pull on my yarn and need to watch this with this yarn lest I "squish" the mohair so light tension is better. This yarn is an excellent value and your projects look very luxurious.

Comments about "" Douceur et Soie:

This mohair yarn has exceptional look and feel. I am not professional knitter but I knit all my life for relax and pleasure. I love mohair for its magical ability to transform any knit into luxury garment when added as a second thread even to a simplest wool. Last year I had excellent result combining Classic Elite Woodland wool+nettle with Shibui' Silk cloud. The japanese mohair made me fell in love with the high quality fiber that makes my heart pound when I see the final result. I am very glad that I ordered Douceur et soie. I am planing to order more for another project, this time crochet. I have tried small sample- it looks gorgeous! The only warning I have- the yarn is very thin- if you are planing to use it as a single thread be prepared to switch to the most feminine and delicate part of your nature with the lightest touch of your fingers.
